The Sheila Hugh Mackay Scholarship was established by the Foundation’s Board of Directors after Ms Mackay’s death to honour her life-time commitment to the encouragement of excellence in the visual arts time arts. It is an annual opportunity for a New Brunswick student entering a recognised graduate program in the study of fine art or craft subject to the discretion of an independent jury of art professionals.
For the purposes of this scholarship, a resident of New Brunswick is defined as someone who has lived in the province for 5 consecutive years prior to application.
Candidates must have made an application to study visual art or fine craft at a recognized institution.
Proof of acceptance for the program of study will be required before funds are distributed.
